The Diploma Program in Supervisory Development is a nine-day program for those who work in supervisory positions. This workshop develops the key competencies required for supervisors in all organizations.
This program is designed for individuals who are new to supervision or currently working in supervisory positions who wish to improve their ability to adapt to the change of pace in their responsibilities, and who want to gain fresh insights into the nature of their work role.
While each workshop is a “stand alone” module, all three modules of the program are mandatory workshops for the diploma. These workshops are:
The Professional Supervisor, is focused on a supervisor's professional development. This was formerly known as Supervisory Development, Level 1.
Managing Employee Performance, begins with the Myers Briggs Type Inventory (MBTI) to help individuals understand themselves and others better . This was formerly known as Supervisory Development, Level 11.
Business Improvement and Managing Projects, gives the supervisor an opportunity to look at how he/she can make the organization more profitable. This was formerly known as Supervisory Development, Level III.
Workshop have been designed with an optional pre-workshop assignment. Participants are encouraged to can meet with their individual manager/supervisor prior to attending any training to discuss the upcoming training and their individual learning objectives during the workshop
